What are the 2017 MCGM Electoral Ward Boundaries?

Just as how, every five years, the Citizens elect Members of Parliament and Members of the State Legislative Assembly; the Citizens of Mumbai elect Municipal Corporators to the legislative wing of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), every five years.  Each Corporator, who may or may not belong to a political party, represents a geographic segment of Mumbai known as an Electoral Ward. There are 227 Electoral Wards divided between the city and the suburbs.

The Municipal Election is conducted by the State Election Commission and follows the same Electoral procedures which are used for conducting the Lok Sabha and the Vidhan Sabha Elections. The voter list prepared by the Election Commission of India is the official voter list used by the State Election Commission as well.

The Electoral Ward boundaries have been recently redrawn. To view the list of the new Electoral Wards click here.
