BMC to set up ‘jumbo’ isolation facilities

The BMC will open several more ‘jumbo’ isolation centres in the city to tackle the rising cases of Covid-19, officials said on Monday, hours after the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) handed over operational charge of its newly built 1,000 bed facility at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) to the municipality.
