1,172 private doctors step up for Covid duty

The doctors, who responded to DMER’s call, will be posted at their assigned facilities from Monday onwards.

Responding to the state medical department’s call to private doctors to report for Covid duty, a total of 1,172 private practitioners have stepped up to offer their services. They have even said that they are willing to work in any facility that they are assigned to as they want to ‘save the city and save the nation’.
