BEST fares from July: Bus commute gets cheaper with minimum Rs 5 and maximum Rs 20
Mumbai: It is official, your BEST bus commute will be cheaper, most likely from the first week of July. The Best committee mumbers on Tuesday dleared a historic proposal to reduce bus faires and fixed minimum fare at Rs 5 (up tp 5km) and maximum fare at Rs 20 for to travel anywhere in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai. AC bus travel will cost a just a rupee more for up to 5km. The maximum pay for AC buses in Rs 25 for over 15km.
