To boost e-tickets, WR may shut some booking windows on weekends

Mumbai: Western Railway mulls keeping a few ticket booking windows closed on weekends at important stations like Dadar and Borivli to encourage more passengers to use mobile tickets and automated ticket vending machines (ATVM). WR has also been aggressively campaigning to promote modern modes of ticketing by seting up ATVM zones on platforms.
