Year after complaints, action finally against encroaching vehicles
Days after a Mumbai Mirror report on abandoned vehicles eating into the road behind Infinity Mall in Malad West for over a year, the authorities have swung into action.
On December 18, this newspaper had put the spotlight on the menace being left unattended by the authorities despite a number of complaints by residents. On Saturday, the traffic police’s Malad division pasted intimation notices on the vehicles, warning the owners that they would be declared abandoned and towed away.
