Scientific waste disposal biggest challenge: Civic chief
A day after he received the prestigious ‘Cleanest Capital’ award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta on Monday said scientific processing and disposal of garbage and debris was the biggest challenge before him.
“A high level team of workers and officers has been working consistently for the past three years to achieve the goal of a clean and beautiful Mumbai. In the days to come, we will work out a comprehensive action plan for scientific processing of garbage and debris,” Mehta told ToI.
