Mumbai: 2nd AC local to arrive this week, be put up for trials
Mumbai: The much-awaited second AD local will arrive in the city early this week and is likely to be put up for trails. Sources said the train has already left Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, where it was manufactured.
After the Research Design and Standards Organisation conducts trials on the rake on the suburban tracks, it will require sanction from the commissioner of railway safety before being pressed into service, which could take a few months, said Western Railway officials.
