Head to ‘plastic banks’ to junk trash in Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation

The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has created three plastic banks where residents can go and deposit the banned plastic items lying at their homes ever since the plastic ban came into force on June 23.

The citizens, who had stockpiles of plastic bags and other sundry items which they once hoarded, said they did not know how to reuse or recycle them.
