HC: What happens if highrise next to monorail catches fire?
Mumbai: The Bombay high court on Monday asked MMRDA what it will do if an untoward incident takes place in a Wadala highrise next to which a monorail station has been built.
“If something untoward happens, what are you going to do?” asked a bench of justices Satyaranjan Dharmadhikari and Burgess Colabawalla. Its query followed MMRDA advocate Kiran Bagalia’a statement that the chief fire officer had given an NOC (No Objection Certificate) for the monorail stations.
