Fix Kalbadevi traffic for festive season, says Bombay High Court
The Bombay High Court on Wednesday asked the traffic police and BMC to install CCTV cameras in bylanes of Kalbadevi area, in addition to those installed at main junctions, to ease traffic and pedestrian movement in the area.
A division bench of acting chief justice Naresh Patil and justice Girish Kulkarni said, “Install CCTV cameras, ensure policemen are deployed, make their presence felt to the crowd, as there will be high footfalls for shopping during this festive season.”
