Complaints up 26%, BMC takes 46 days to resolve each: Report

Mumbai: The trend of increasing grievances about civic issues ranging from water supply, drainage to garbage continues, with complaints to the BMC rising by 26% to 1.2 lakh in 2018 from 92,329 the year before, says a recent report by a civic watchdog. Complaints about water supply increased most sharply, jumping 81.7% from 6,959 in 2017 to 12,647 last year.
