Citizen groups drive people to take responsibility and govt to react

Like most urban cities, Mumbai has its own home-grown problems – filthy beaches, damaged infrastructure, don poop, noise pollution, speeding bikes, and waning green patches. But Mumbaikars have been known for their community cohesion and instead of individually complaining to local authorities, residents have found hyperlocal ways to take on responsibility, resolve gripes and improve their city together.
