BMC hikes water tariff by 3.72% from June 16

Do not waste water, use it wisely as the civic body has hiked the water tariff by 3.72 per cent. This will come into effect from June 16. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) have proposed increasing the water tariff up to 8 per cent depending on the consumption. This comes at a time when water is severely wasted by keeping tapsopen.
