BMC to float tenders to complete Santacruz pumping station work

A month after the contractor for the Gazdarbandh pumping station in Santacruz was shown the door over delays, the BMC will float new tenders for completion of the work at an estimated cost of Rs 75 crore.

The contract period for the new tender, which is to be floated this week, is six months, excluding monsoon, and the cost includes maintenance for a period of seven years after the pumping station is completed.
