202 cases registered against Ganapati mandals for violating Bombay HC guideline

The Mumbai Police has registered a total of 202 cases against different Ganapati mandals across the city for violating HC guidelines to curb noise pollution.

Police said: “Strict action was taken against defiant mandals to send a message across. We wanted people to take the guidelines issued seriously. Going soft on them would have encouraged more violations in the future.”
