What are the Various Election Constituencies in Mumbai?

The City of Greater Mumbai is divided into two districts which are Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburbs. Each section is divided into Lok Sabha (Parliamentary) Constituencies and Vidhan Sabha (Assembly) Constituencies. The Lok Sabha is the ‘House of People’ and is the lower house of the Indian Parliament.

It consists of Members of Parliament or MPs who form the Parliament in Delhi, the national capital. The Vidhan Sabha consists of Members of the Legislative Assembly or MLAs who form the Legislative Assembly in the StateCapital. The members of both types of constituencies are elected by direct public vote for a term of five years.

Each Vidhan Sabha Constituency has a serial number and covers a certain area.
